BACK AT THE MIAMI AIRPORT DOUBLETREE HOTEL!

We received rave reviews regarding our new location! We are again at the Miami Airport Doubletree and looking forward to another exciting year of Magic in Miami.

Everyone loved Miami Dance Magic at the Doubletree for 2013! We are ready to ramp it up and do it all over again for 2014!

We have had the priviledge of hosting dancers from around the world. From Belgium, France and England in the European theatre to friends from Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Miami Dance Magic has been an exciting stop for so many. Our friends across the US and locally have been treated to a unique weekend.
 
Miami Dance magic continues to be a stop on the Master's Tour and the AANCE Tour. Our Pro-Am J&J is a chance to compete with a pro for money and prestige. With our contests and unique workshop schedule, we feel you have so many opportunities to improve your dance, show off those improvements and enjoy woking with so many dancers from around the world to share our passion for West Coast Swing!
 

	Our philosophy of Miami Dance Magic has not changed. Our objective is to supply you with a weekend that overflows with dance opportunities. For those looking for instruction, there will be over 20 hours of workshops by some of the best talents in West Coast Swing. Competition minded? We have a full slate of West Coast Swing contests: From Pro-Ams to Strictly Swing and Jack & Jills (including a NEW YOUNG AMERICA J&J DIVISION (21 and under)!) to a Masters Routine Division and Rising Star. On the Pro level, a Strictly Swing and Invitational Jack & Jill will provide many of us with the inspiration and eye popping level of dance we've come to enjoy. Finally, for the dancers who just wants to dance, we count some 50+ hours where one of our ballrooms is open to just do your thing!   On Thursday, our Kick-Off Party will feature a special workshop to start our festivities that evening. Stay tuned as we get our schedule shaped up and decide who will lead off in our batting order! The earlybird dance is part of your weekend ticket. The early workshop will be an additional charge of just $10 and benefit our Perrotta-Midiri Youth Scholarship Fund.
	On Friday, we'll have workshops and open dancing all day long! Mario Robau returns to MC again this year! We'll kickoff the evening with our Opening Ceremonies which will include an introduction to all of our fine staff for the weekend. After Opening Ceremonies, Mario will get the rest of the evening started with some Strictly Swing contests. We will do everything possible to present all awards we can each night to recognize our dancers and their accomplishments as the weekend progresses! Then it will be on to the after hours dancing that we all enjoy so well!   On Saturday, our expanded workshop schedule will keep you busy. We also kick our competition schedule into high gear in the afternoon sessions. In the evening, we'll see some of the best dancing in the world with a variety of competitions and demos. We will also announce our sixth annual Perrotta-Midiri Florida Youth Scholarship, present awards and dance to the wee hours of Sunday morning.   BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!   Sunday starts with our final set of workshops. In the afternoon, We hold the finals for all of our Jack & Jill contests and present our remaining awards for the weekend...   YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK ABOUT STAYING THROUGH MONDAY...
	We have two and sometimes three ballrooms in use for contests and social dancing throughout the weekend. Assorted areas are available for private lessons with our great staff. In the main ballroom, the dance music will be strongly West Coast Swing served up by some of the best DJ's in the nation.   For more details, registration and to make your hotel reservations, please use the menu to the left to navigate through the various pages of our website. Our $109 special room rate will be honored from July 14th through the 23rd. Come early, stay late! Make a vacation out of it, but book your room early this year as the Miami DoubleTree at the airport may sell out again with our event in their facilities.   Miami Dance Magic will give you the opportunity to enjoy Miami's fabulous world-famous beaches, shopping, cafes, Art-Deco ambience of South Beach, beautiful weather, exciting night-life and more. For those of you who wish to stay close to the dance action, the beautiful DoubleTree has a fitness club, an outdoor pool and spa and so much more to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. There are shuttles to and from the airport and other locales in the area to give you inexpensive opportunities to explore the great city of Miami!   Miami Dance Magic promises to make this a "Magical" dance event experience with our outstanding staff, jam packed schedule and some exciting surprises. Beth and I will do everything possible to make your stay with us as exciting and packed full of dance action.
